Irrelevant content is the death of mobile marketing. People rush a read while multitasking. You’ll lose them if you slow them down. KISS is king. #mobilemonday
People joke about hashtag this & that but creating your own obscure hashtag will be much less successful than tying in with popular but related ones, that may be less than perfect.
Choosing keywords for mobile may be different from desktop keywords. People search on mobile differently. Google has a good tool for finding mobile keywords.
Consumers are more likely to pay attention to and prefer organizations that have #causemarketing campaigns during the holidays. Have you planned yours?
Do you just post one time per message? Consider republishing content a 2nd or 3rd time since people check social media throughout the day and may miss the first time.
Keep social media content current…meaning post about today’s events of interest to followers, related to your business, & start conversations about their thoughts on it.
How’s your customer service on social media? Sprout Social reports that 88% of messages to companies go unanswered within 72 hours. Yikes!
Got a negative post? Instead of deleting it, acknowledge it, respond in a positive way, take the conversation offline, then, update the post showing resolution of the issue.
Targeting is most important in #mobileadvertising but be careful not to over-target so you over-limit your audience. #mobilemonday
