Funny: I just saw a competitor linking to a client we’re prospecting. It tells me that he’s in on the pitch too. LinkedIn is a terrific competitive intelligence tool but it can work to your disadvantage too. Connect to people carefully or you may be broadcasting your prospects or “secret”  vendors to competitors.
